TrinamiX Measures Distance through Fiber

    Always wanted a non-contact measurement tool with 0.01mm precision for lab use.

  2. maybe a bit offtopic and something different from what you are looking for. Heliotis (http://heliotis.ch/) offers white light interferometry 3D cameras that can go below 10um z resolution, they can actually go far below 10u. about 300x300 pixels. The measurement takes place in a z-scan, so you need a z-axis. But you can go down into the 100ms range for a 300x300 measurement with sub um z resolution.
